Details
The walk will be approximately ten miles. Please bring plenty of water and a packed lunch. We advise wearing walking boots or sturdy trainers.
We will be meeting at 10:20am to start walking at 10:30am.
We will meet outside the Perky Peacock café – Barker Tower, North St, York YO1 6BE https://w3w.co/record.lofts.rope
The walk will end at the Ackhorne, where anyone is free to meet us for a drink or two. We aim to be at the pub for approximately 4 – 4:30pm. If you would like to meet us at the pub then please let us know and we will keep you updated with our eta via text/WhatsApp.

Route
We will be following the river along the cycle path to Beningbrough, looping through the woods by Beningbrough Hall before returning to York.
This walk is open to volunteers, beneficiaries and friends or family. We will have beneficiaries with us on the walk who will be walking the Yorkshire Marathon in October for Move Mates – it would be fantastic to give them your support 🙂
