Details
The walk will be approximately nine miles. Please bring plenty of water and a packed lunch. We advise wearing walking boots or sturdy trainers.
We will meet on the Fulford side of Millennium Bridge at 10:30am. The what3words location is https://w3w.co/sing.serve.smiles
The route will take us via Fulford Golf Course and along the river to join the Solar System Cycle Way. We will pass through Bishopthorpe and finish at the Fox and Roman pub on Tadcaster Road.
For anyone wishing to join us at the pub, we expect to arrive there at around 2pm-2:30pm. We will keep you updated via the volunteer WhatsApp group.
This walk is open to volunteers, beneficiaries and friends or family. We will have beneficiaries with us on the walk who will be walking the Yorkshire Marathon in October for Move Mates – it would be fantastic to give them your support 🙂
