Join us for a Dementia Friends information session run by the Alzheimer’s Society. Our friendly instructor, Margaret, will help us to understand what it’s like to live with dementia and the actions we can take.
There will be the opportunity to ask questions and to discuss volunteering with beneficiaries living with dementia.
This session is highly recommended for any of our volunteers who are a Move Mate for someone living with or affected by dementia.
The training session will take place at the Move the Masses office – 1st floor, Rougier House, 5 Rougier Street, York. Please come to the red door (up the ramp) on Rougier Street, up the stairs to the first floor and turn left. (https://what3words.com/clean.fear.cover)
